Newcastle United’s summer transfer window is expected to be exciting.

The Magpies’ season has been challenging due to their patchy performance and injury problems.

Due to Eddie Howe’s inability to duplicate the previous season’s success, significant choices regarding additions and subtractions will be made in the summer.

Howe has said in the past that the team would likely have a “tough summer” because of the continued FFP limitations.

Even during the January transfer window, there was talk that the team could need to sell one of its most prized assets in order to make a significant acquisition.

The topic of Bruno Guimaraes’ departure this summer has received a lot of attention.

The Athletic claims that the team has acknowledged the midfielder’s potential departure.

However, on Saturday, Guimaraes made his 100th Newcastle match and emerged victorious against Fulham.

“I hope to stay much longer.

“I don’t know what the future brings, let’s see, but I hope to play much more for Newcastle United.”

The midfielder is still free to depart from Newcastle United.
Guimaraes may still be convinced to accept a substantial offer elsewhere, even if it appears that he is willing to remain with the Magpies.

The Brazilian international can be drawn to a major club by the promise of playing Champions League games the next season.

The Newcastle star has been linked to French champions Paris Saint-Germain, and given that Guimaraes has played in France in the past, he would feel at ease returning to his own country.

Large offers for the Brazilian to leave Newcastle United
Guimaraes has been heavily linked to leaving the Magpies in recent months; Real Madrid, PSG, and Man City have all been floated as potential summer destinations for him.

Newcastle is currently ranked seventh in the Premier League and is fighting for a Europa League or Europa Conference League spot.
