Ryan Jack’s injury situation didn’t exactly fill Rangers fans with confidence Philippe Clement could renew his contract.

The Scotland international midfielder, 32, has seen the last few seasons of his Rangers career interrupted with a calf injury which continues to hold him back.

The player is on the medical table, and Jacko’s Ibrox contract is nearing its expiration. These are undoubtedly concerning indications.

The midfielder’s tenure with the Rangers appears to be coming to an end, based on Philippe Clement’s most recent Ryan Jack report.

Philippe Clement Update on Ryan Jack’s injuries
Prior to the match against Dundee, Philippe Clement was questioned over Ryan Jack’s situation at Rangers.

Jack’s injury has kept him out of action since the team’s triumph against Ayr United in the Scottish Cup, which came at a pivotal point in the midfielder’s season.

Clement clarified that it’s still unclear if the player would return this season because Rangers are now considering other options to address a persistent problem.

Clement responded, “That’s a difficult one,” when asked if Ryan Jack would be visible to Rangers supporters this season.

“We are currently looking for other solutions to get him back. He was on a good way back last week, but then he felt again a bit.” We lost a bit of time there, so we’ll see.

“We examine the problem and seek remedies on a weekly basis.

He has been experiencing issues with his calves for years, so finding a good solution is imperative.

“As a manager, I also don’t want a player to return for one game and then miss three months of action, or to put him at risk for the remainder of his career.”

Midfielder for Rangers headed for sorrow in Scotland
The circumstances corroborate rumors from last week that the Rangers would only tender new contracts to one of the six players who are currently without contracts.

Given that he resembles John Lundstram, players like Ryan Jack appear ready to move on, and if the midfielder is let go, it will mark the end of an era.

Jack came to Rangers from Aberdeen in 2017, and he has occasionally demonstrated his undeniable talent in the midfield at Ibrox.

Injury misery kept Ryan Jack out of the Euro 2020 squad, and it appears to have hurt his chances this time around at Euro 2024 as well. Ryan Jack was a fixture in Steve Clarke’s Scotland squad as well.

Ryan Jack, a midfield player who has made 210 appearances for Rangers, is truly unfortunate, and we are very sorry for him.
