Harry Maguire has been spotted watching Wrexham’s vital clash with Crawley Town on Tuesday, and the reason for his visit can be easily explained.
WHAT HAPPENED?
Maguire has been spotted at Wrexham’s clash with Crawley, per Daily Mail journalist Nathan Salt. The England defender, though, may not be scouting his future club, as his visit had nothing to do with the Welsh side’s promotion ambitions.
WHY IS MAGUIRE THERE?
Maguire made the visit to watch his brother, Laurence, who is on loan at Crawley from Chesterfield. The 27-year-old also plays as a central defender, and has played 167 times for his parent club. While on loan at Crawley, he has made 31 appearances and scored three goals.
DID YOU KNOW?
Harry is four years older than Laurence and has enjoyed far more success in the sport, playing for United and for England at major tournaments, although his brother has also carved out a career for himself, albeit in England’s lower divisions.
WHAT NEXT?
Harry will likely meet up with his brother post-game, although he will soon have to return to Manchester to prepare for United’s game against Bournemouth this weekend.
