It appears that one West Ham United regular will be leaving the London Stadium this summer.

David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, will find great significance in the summer transfer window.

For the Hammers, it seems like every summer window that comes around is incredibly busy.

If the West Ham manager is still in control at the London Stadium, he will need to make significant changes to the team.

This is because Moyes will need to bring in a large number of new players because up to 12 players could leave West Ham at the end of the current campaign.

But now, another Hammer is connected to the exit door in addition to those twelve. Although I am aware that not every story will be accurate, this one seems extremely plausible.

A 147-appearance West Ham player could depart this summer.
When Moyes signed a string of highly significant players back in 2020, we became contenders for the top seven spots in the Premier League standings.

The following players came at the London Stadium between January and October of 2020: Jarrod Bowen, Vladimir Coufal, Tomas Soucek, Craig Dawson, and Said Benrahma.

Benrahma had his moments, but the top four names on that list were all massive hits. Benrahma was moved on in January of this year, and Dawson left last year.

Now, another person on that list might decide to do the same.

Turkish powerhouse Besiktas is reportedly interested in signing Hammers right-back Vladimir Coufal, according to a report from Fotomaç.

Following his transfer from Slavia Prague in October 2020, Coufal has made 147 appearances for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

The Czech Republic international’s contract had a 12-month extension option that the West Ham owners recently exercised. The player was reportedly upset about this since he felt he should have received a wage increase.

Coufal has actually been pretty poor since all the talk of him demanding more money emerged last month.

And if the 31-year-old leaves West Ham to join Besiktas this summer, you won’t see any grumbles from me.
