When Everton plays Chelsea on April 15, Sean Dyche might want to make some changes from the squad that defeated Burnley.
On Monday night in the Premier League, the Toffees head to London to play Mauricio Pochettino’s team at Stamford Bridge.
The players will be more mentally prepared for the match because Dyche’s team won the rematch 2-0.
Seamus Coleman isn’t Everton’s best option at right back.
Despite starting the match against Burnley at right-back, Seamus Coleman has struggled to stay in that position for the Toffees.
There were still many parts of his game, even after the own goal against Bournemouth, that suggested someone like Ben Godfrey would be a better fit there.
In his continued use of Young on the right wing against Burnley, Dyche saw little to no success.
Jack Harrison will be necessary to stop and follow Chelsea runners throughout the entire game since he is quicker, a better playmaker, and a goal danger.
Is Amadou Onana going to rejoin Everton?
Andre Gomes did not appear out of place at all throughout his first ninety minutes of action this season against Burnley.
The player with the exit connection is still not entirely fit for the game and won’t have the same physical presence as Amadou Onana.
The Belgian is still doubtful for the match, but there’s a strong likelihood that he will start for Dyche’s team if he is given the all-clear to play.
Other than that, the rest of the team selects itself, so it’s fortunate that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is back among the goals.
