At Celtic Park on Saturday, Reo Hatate stole the show as his goal in the second half put the Bhoys on the winning track.

With a 3-0 victory over St Mirren, Celtic increased their lead over The Rangers to four points.

The Japanese midfielder started his third game on the bounce after returning from a long term injury.

It’s evident to see how much we’ve missed Reo this season. His ability on the ball, to pick a pass and to score goals makes home one of the best players we have. His goal on Saturday was a cracker and made sure Celtic kept up the pressure and ticked off another win.

After the game, Reo has taken to social media to celebrate his contributions. The midfielder declaring another three points have been put in the bag and focusing on the next match. It was his first post since early February.

Celtic aren’t back in action in the league for two weeks now with the semi-final of the Scottish Cup meaning there’s some respite from the pressure of the title race. However, the semi final presents another chance for Celtic to win silverware this season and they’ll want to put their best foot forward against Aberdeen at Hampden. Reo will likely be in the mix.
