A West Ham United player must be in a very bad mood this morning following a decision made by David Moyes during yesterday’s loss to Fulham.

David Moyes watched helplessly from the sidelines as Fulham defeated West Ham Wednesday afternoon.

Strangely, the Scot blamed the loss on the three-day turnaround from Thursday once more, even though playing on Wednesday and Saturday is not any different.

Our season’s dreams of finishing in the top seven were all but dashed with the 2-0 loss to the Cottagers. Chelsea still has three games to go until we play, but Newcastle appears to be back on track.

That’s unfortunate since at the beginning of the year, everything seemed so promising for us. But due to an unexpected January transfer window, our team is woefully underdeveloped.

Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals were fired without being replaced, and the unfortunate Kalvin Phillips loan signing turned out to be a complete bust.

For no obvious reason, the Scot has continued to shun some of the players who are not in this preferred starting lineup.

And yesterday, one of them would have been furious as hell.

David Moyes mistreated a West Ham player during the Fulham loss.
Late in the game, Fulham was ahead 2-0, and Moyes just didn’t seem to be able to make a difference or even understand how to get us back into the match.

It is his own problem that he has no one he can rely on to enter the game from the bench.

In January, he received offers from many elite players, but he rejected them all (Claret and Hugh).

But if given a steady run of games, one guy at the team has the potential to really help us.

With only 326 minutes of play across all competitions this season, Maxwel Cornet has been utterly disregarded by Moyes (Transfermarkt).

He’s had a pretty difficult season playing for the Hammers. But yesterday was even lower for him than before.

It was a ridiculous move for Moyes to insert the 27-year-old during injury time of West Ham United’s loss to Fulham. How about we give him twenty or thirty minutes to see if he can change things and bring us back in the game?

It would have been an insult to him if the Scot had brought Cornet on with a few minutes to go.

I am positive that he will depart from the club during the summer. I simply found Moyes’s handling of him to be completely
