Newcastle intends to settle on a compensation agreement that will enable Dan Ashworth to begin working at Manchester United before selecting a new director of football. With June 30th being the last day of the fiscal year and teams having to adhere to the Premier League’s sustainability and profitability rules, the club also wants the new man in place to assist what looks to be a hectic start to the summer transfer market.
