Co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have been set a transfer challenge as manager Phil Parkinson draws up recruitment plans at Wrexham.

Consequently, what happened?
After receiving back-to-back promotions from the National League, the Red Dragons are getting ready to move up to League One, the third division of English football. Reynolds and McElhenney, co-owners of Hollywood, have contributed to that incredible rise.

In the upcoming window, more money will be needed because Wrexham knows they can no longer outspend their EFL competitors. Although they have a lot of excellent material on their books, they anticipate moving in and out of SToK Racecourse in the upcoming weeks.

PARKINSON’S MENTION
Parkinson acknowledges as much, expressing his summertime goals to talkSPORT with the words, “How can we go? We truly have a significant test coming up this summer since, in my opinion, moving from the National League to League One is a larger jump than that. The challenge for us is to hire well and retain the culture we’ve developed over the past two years, all the while being honest and understanding that you have to get better every time you step up. It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to taking on.

FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM?
A number of contracts for the Welsh team are about to expire, meaning big decisions will need to be made. Top targets will also need to be identified, and on-loan goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is rumored to be one of them. All of this is happening as the team looks to add even more drama to the widely watched “Welcome to Wrexham” documentary series.
