Although Ryan Reynolds has a lot on his plate, Wrexham’s promotion to League One has been the topic of all the buzz.
With their 6-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers last weekend, Wrexham made their third-tier debut since 2005.
That’s two consecutive promotions for Wrexham, and Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds’ effort is undoubtedly succeeding.
The two are getting a lot of recognition for their efforts at Wrexham, which have revitalized both the club and the town itself.
Though both McElhenney and Reynolds are well-known in numerous fields, they do have other obligations.
For example, McElhenney owns a whiskey brand and operates a bar in addition to being a part of the entertainment technology business Adim.
Reynolds is involved in so many commercial endeavors that it is hard to list them all, but their acting professions continue to be their major priority despite the success of Wrexhams’ narrative.
The Wrexham star, McElhenney, is back in the Deadpool trailer shared by Ryan Reynolds. Season 17 of Always Sunny in Philadelphia will air before the end of the year.
Reynolds is set to reprise his role as Deadpool in light of Marvel’s recent announcement of Deadpool & Wolverine, which unites two of the company’s most well-known characters.
Now that Reynolds has released the movie’s first trailer on Instagram, some keen-eyed Wrexham fans may have noticed a familiar figure.
In one scene in the teaser, Ollie Palmer of Wrexham looks to be in the background as Reynolds calls in the enormous forward for a quick, easily missed cameo.
Palmer seemed to confirm that he is in the trailer when he replied to the post on Instagram with the words “if you squint” and a laughing emoji.
On social media, Reynolds appeared to corroborate the information as well, claiming to have “keen eyesight” in response to criticism that Palmer was in the background.
Palmer has been really busy lately.
McElhenney posted an advertisement for Major League Baseball’s upcoming London Series last week.
In that advertisement, there was only one Wrexham star, Palmer, who was once again the selected one.
Although Paul Mullin is the team’s most well-known member, Palmer has recently received requests to work with McElhenney and Reynolds.
However, Palmer is quite the character, so going forward, Wrexham fans will need to keep a watch out for him and the other stars of the club.
