Alvaro Valles, the goalkeeper linked to Nottingham Forest, has been questioned about his future after learning that Premier League teams are interested in signing him.
To be honest, Forest may desire Valles, but they must resolve their Premier League situation first.
With four games remaining, the Reds are still just one point above the relegation zone following their 2-0 loss to Everton last weekend.
This season, Forest has had a lot of goalkeepers, with Belgian stopper Matz Sels now holding the top spot.
While Odysseas Vlachodimos also signed last summer but hasn’t exactly produced much, Matt Turner has been on the sidelines for a while.
Valles is currently being linked to Forest and asked about his future as teams compete to sign the Las Palmas star.
Forest-related Valles provides a future outlook.
It appears, nevertheless, that the goalie is hinting at the possibility of playing for a different team in the future.
It seems as though he might think about moving to a larger club, but he also seems unlikely to pursue a move on his own.
In the summer, the 26-year-old’s contract will expire in just one year, which will draw interest from clubs.
But Valles, who is connected to the Forest, seems content and isn’t seeming upset at Las Palmas if he has to stay there.
“I’m very good here, if I have to try it one day, I’m not going to say no either, they are experiences, this is my first experience away from home since I’ve been here for six years,” he said, according to the official Las Palmas website.
“If I need to gain any new experience, I will.”
After signing a contract with Las Palmas in 2018, Valles has essentially been in the starting lineup.
Valles might be a good addition to Nuno Espirito Santo.
Valles would be a valuable addition to the Forest team, and the recruiting department will almost definitely look to acquire a new goalkeeper if survival is assured.
Given their current lack of playing time, it is very likely that Turner and Vlachodimos will depart Forest in the summer.
With Wayne Hennessey’s contract expiring at the end of this campaign, Sels will be the only senior goalkeeper left at the team.

After 132 games for Las Palmas, Valles’s latest indication that he’s ready to leave the La Liga team may be the strongest one yet.
At 26, the goalkeeper appears to be at a good age to be joining Forest, and if the Reds can pull it together this summer, this may be a very logical trade.
They will have to remain in the Premier League first, though.
