Paul Mullin has disclosed a “sun on our backs” scheme that does not entail a trip to Las Vegas, with Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds contributing to yet another “party.”
Consequently, what happened?
The Red Dragons’ National League championship team was awarded with an all-expenses-paid trip to Sin City in the summer of 2023 by Wrexham’s Hollywood co-owners. Now that they have completed two consecutive promotions, Phil Parkinson’s team has guaranteed a top-three League Two finish.

Summertime plans are being made, both on and off the field. While it has been announced that Wrexham will make another preseason trip to the Americas, further transfer business is anticipated. There might be a second trip to Nevada to enjoy before then.
WHAT MULLIN SAID
Explaining why he is not overly concerned about heading to the States, Mullin has told Sky Sports when asked if Las Vegas is back on the agenda: “I’m not sure. Possibly, we hope so, but we don’t know. To be honest, I’m more looking forward to being able to spend every day with my son on the beach – I think that’s his favourite thing to do in life. Since last summer it’s all I’ve thought about, being able to run up and down with him for a couple of hours and enjoy the sun on our backs because as we’ve seen since January, I don’t think it’s stopped raining! I’m looking forward to doing that with the family, but who knows if we can get another party somewhere.”
FUTURE PLANS FOR WREXHAM?
Parkinson has hinted that a second trip to Vegas is planned, but Wrexham still has one game left in the season, which is against League Two winners Stockport at home. After that match is over, everyone’s attention can shift to summer vacations and getting ready for League One.
