Ansu Fati has a clear wish for his future, the Catalan media says
The future of the Barcelona winger, who is on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion until the end of the season, is uncertain because neither the Blaugranas nor the Seagulls have indicated that they intend to extend his stay.
But as Sport reports, Fati is totally focused on persuading Barça that he merits a spot in their lineup, and he will work to demonstrate this during preseason.
According to the source, the winger’s loan at Brighton hasn’t been particularly “productive” because of his ups and downs in the Premier League; as a result, the Camp Nou team was anticipated to find him a new home during the upcoming transfer window.
Given that Fati is now adamant about staying at Barcelona, it appears that his wish could have an impact on his chances of staying at the team.
The 21-year-old’s possible stay with the Seagulls was not addressed by Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi this week, and the Catalan media doesn’t even entertain the possibility that the loan could turn into a permanent move in the summer.
According to earlier Spanish rumors, Fati wouldn’t object to moving to Sevilla.
