Following reports that he and Gary Neville had received suspensions from Premier League team Nottingham Forest, Jamie Carragher has commented.

After Forest’s 2-0 loss to Everton, they made headlines last week by making a forceful message.

“Three very poor decisions – three penalties not given – which we simply cannot accept,” the statement said. Before the match, we informed the PGMOL that the VAR supports Luton, but they chose not to replace him. Many times, our patience has been put to the test. NFFC will now examine its alternatives.

Then, Carragher and Neville attacked Forest, criticizing the way they had handled judgments that had gone against them.

Neville’s announcement that he would not be attending Forest’s Sunday match against Manchester City gave rise to rumors that he and Carragher had been banned by the club.

The former Liverpool player has now responded to the rumors.

“Only just heard Nottingham Forest have banned @GNev2 and @Carra23 from the City Ground,” a supporter stated on social media. That’s awesome, they’re just puppets for SkySport, their remarks were a shame!

Following that, a fan retorted, stating: “It’s embarrassing if this is true. Although I disagree with both of them and their viewpoints, they are free to hold them. This kind of nonsense has been done in Scotland by Celtic/Rangers banning pundits from the opposing team, and it never works out well. “It’s not true, Sky should decline to broadcast it,” Carragher tweeted. But given your earlier tweet on the two of us, what an odd response from you.

Speaking about Forest on the latest episode of Stick To Football, brought to you by Sky Bet, Neville said: “You’ve got Clattenburg almost like a Navy Seal in the director’s box crawling along to the CEO (whispering).

“If he saw that Luton tweet that went viral, he needs to disassociate himself from it or he’s part of it, which is why I asked him to step down. If that’s him, I’m thinking, “Whoa.”

He went on, “You never, ever give football players or employees an excuse to quit.” He’s given them a reason not to prevail. That may sound absurd, but when you include in that negativity, Neco Williams—who is presumably a pretty excellent player—is going to talk about officials when he comes out on Sunday.
