The Athletic reports that five first-team West Ham United players may leave the London Stadium this summer.

The news outlet reports that Ben Johnson, Divin Mubama, Angelo Ogbonna, and Aaron Cresswell are all expected to quit the team when their contracts expire on their website on April 27.

Additionally, journalist Roshane Thomas thinks that with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain surrounding, they are also “set to lose” Lucas Paqueta because of his release clause.

They stated, “With Lucas Paqueta’s £85 million release clause activating in June, West Ham is set to lose him this summer.”

“Aaron Cresswell, Angelo Ogbonna, Ben Johnson, and Muhammad Ali are scheduled to depart at the conclusion of the current season as their contracts expire.”

A roster makeover is planned for West Ham United.
It appears that the London Stadium’s playing roster will undergo a significant change this summer, which might be advantageous.

The Irons squad is quite old and needs refreshing, but it also needs added quality and more depth to be able to compete properly next season.

But it also will allow any new manager who comes in to be able to bring in players they want, for their own profile and their own system to get a better start to life.

With a new attacking style that appears to be what the management wants, David Moyes is anticipated to leave the team, and it will require a new group of players who can function tactically.

With so many players departing, there will be more money and wages available to spend on their replacements, and fans can now look forward to a lively summer transfer window.
