Roberto De Zerbi spoke during a press conference held following the game about the Albion’s “tough” run of performances.

“We are going through a difficult season, particularly in the last two to three months,” he stated. We must be able to muster the will to conclude the season in a different manner. Because we are Brighton and we have a duty to maintain respect for our supporters, our club, and ourselves, we cannot tolerate a game without soul.

Now that the Light Blues are back on track in the Premiership, there will be a happy atmosphere at Ibrox. However, Fabio Silva was once again at the center of controversy when Steven Thompson accused him of diving.

In an interview with BBC Radio Scotland on April 28, at 13:01, he stated: “He has prior experience with it; it’s a booking, it’s a dive.” He is not required to do it. It is awkward.

Will Rangers use the summer transfer window to permanently get Fabio Silva from Wolves?
Although it’s not the worst, this episode could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back given the lengthy history of scandals in which the Wolves loanee has been involved during his brief stay at Ibrox.

Silva was criticized by both commentators and fans for collapsing in the penalty area against Hearts during the Gers’ victory at Hampden Park, even though he had a nearly empty net to shoot into from close range.

Earlier in the season, during the Light Blues’ draw with Celtic at Ibrox, Chris Sutton called the Wolves loanee a cheat for a dive that resulted in a penalty after a protracted VAR check.

The forward has also been spotted throwing a bit of a tantrum when substituted in recent weeks and it becoming increasingly clear that Rangers won’t be in a rush to sign him permanently this summer.

Ross McCausland has looked brighter when he has come off of the bench in recent weeks while the likes of Rabbi Matondo and Abdallah Sima both sit ahead of the Wolves loanee when fit and available.

It could be best for everyone if this loan swap is terminated early if Philippe Clement has grown as dissatisfied with Silva’s performances as the public has and isn’t interested in signing him permanently.

The Gers could do without having his salary on the books, and Wolves are short in attacking depth. Perhaps Clement ought to return the youthful forward to Molineux as soon as possible.
