Jake Bickerstaff, a striker for Wrexham, has returned from his loan at Accrington Stanley, the club announced on their official website.
During the January transfer window, Wrexham temporarily let the attacker to walk out the door.

In ten League Two appearances for Accrington Stanley, Bickerstaff, 22, scored one goal.

Now that he has returned to the Racecourse Ground, the North West team has stated this on their retained list.

Wrexham Man is back.
Before the following season begins, Wrexham must decide what to do with Bickerstaff.

The Welsh team, along with Stockport County and Mansfield Town, are getting ready for life in League One after being promoted.

He may struggle to get into their side ahead of the likes of Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, Steven Fletcher, Jack Marriott and Sam Dalby.

The Liverpudlian faces a lot of competition for a starting position and although he provides useful competition and depth, his game time may be limited.

Therefore, a potential exit in some capacity may be the most sensible decisions as the Red Dragons weigh up their next move.

Bickerstaff’s contract runs until 2026 meaning they are under no pressure to let him leave.

He joined Wrexham back in 2017 after he had a spell at Liverpool as a teenager and he has since played 24 times for his current club in all competitions, scoring three goals. He has also had loan spells away in the past at Nantwich Town and Caernarfon Town to boost his development.

The forward helped Phil Parkinson’s side win promotion from the National League last year and they have since gone up again whilst he was away at Accrington Stanley.

The Red Dragons have a big summer ahead now as they look to be a force to be reckoned with in the third tier.
