Jack Butland may have sealed his Rangers career when he was seen on Sunday, May 5, fighting with supporters outside Ibrox.

Because of his outstanding play this season, the 31-year-old has been connected to several moves outside of Scotland, and it is said that he is eager to return to the Premier League this summer. [DHNet]

Though Butland was awarded Rangers’ Player of the Year, he may have just secured his Ibrox departure this summer after being dragged away from a furious altercation with a supporter following Kilmarnock’s 4-1 victory.

The Scottish Sun published a video on its website on Tuesday, May 7, in which Butland could be heard saying: “That’s fine.” It is unknown what prompted the goalkeeper’s response. Every time, I come to a standstill. Each and every time.

“I’ve taken a weekly break. each week.

This summer, will the Rangers sell Jack Butland?
Butland has been the victim of the rumor mill, which has begun to spin much before the summer transfer market begins, as is the case with every player who is performing well.

But it seems sense that frustrations are beginning to surface as the Gers try to defeat their Old Firm rivals Celtic in the Scottish Premiership, as emotions are running high.

After Philippe Clement’s arrival in October, Rangers had a great opportunity, but the Ibrox supporters are displeased with the recent swing in the balance of power favoring the Hoops.

Following Kilmarnock’s opening goal at Ibrox on Sunday, supporters were probably worried about what might happen. Even though the Rangers managed to overcome a 10-man deficit, concerns were evident.

The guilt that fans outside Ibrox may have placed on Butland for James Tavernier’s own goal may have gotten to the ‘keeper because there was nothing he could have done about it.

Rangers might feel pressured to cash in if the rumors around Butland’s possible summer return to England are accurate, especially in light of the fact that this confrontation was witnessed outside the stadium.

More incidents like these with supporters may force him to quit Ibrox, even if he doesn’t want to, as few players will want to handle that on their own.
