Wrexham’s team has received a heartwarming letter from Rob McElhenney as they continue to celebrate their promotion in Las Vegas.

For the second season in a row, the Wrexham players received a trip to Las Vegas as a prize.

Phil Parkinson’s team finished second in League Two, giving them their desired promotion. In the US, every member of the first team, including the departing players, is enjoying their successes.

Naturally, Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds paid for the trip after promising the players that they would, and this kind of acknowledgement for their efforts throughout a demanding season is appropriate.

Wrexham qualified for the third tier after winning six straight games at the end of the season, despite the tough fight for the top three promotion spots.

Paul Mullin, who has scored 14 goals in his previous 12 games, had a fantastic run of play at the ideal moment to propel the Reds to promotion, and McElhenney has now celebrated that accomplishment.

Wrexham players receive a heartwarming message from Rob McElhenney.
Ever since taking over the club, McElhenney’s “ultimate goal” for Wrexham has been to get the team into the Premier League.

While many doubted if that was a feasible goal in 2021, supporters can now begin to dream of playing in the top division since they are just two promotions away.

When the team received successive promotions for the first time in its existence, the Hollywood owners were understandably thrilled, and McElhenney’s Instagram message to the players reflects that happiness.

It is understandable that Parkinson’s team has been having fun in Las Vegas. Arthur Okonkwo is seen sporting a Wrexham scarf.

It signifies the players’ time off before they start their League One campaign.

Wrexham has begun preparations for League One.
Wrexham knows they need to start planning early for the upcoming season if they are to have any chance of earning a promotion for a record third time.

Announcing their list of released/retained players early implies a few players are in the pipeline, and there’s no way they can abandon their company until later in the timeframe.

Parkinson is limited to selecting a 22-man team in League One, so the team had to get rid of a lot of deadwood, which they accomplished last week.

While a striker is clearly on the agenda, their first objective is still signing Okonkwo permanently, even if no bids have been made for any players.

Many players in the Championship have contracts that expire in June, therefore Wrexham will probably look to the free transfer market.

Meanwhile, investing a significant sum in the window will undoubtedly help McElhenney and Reynolds’ aspirations of getting promoted.
