The supporter who was hurt in an incident at Norwich City on Sunday has been contacted by Leeds United.

After the play-off semi-final match at Carrow Road, a fan of the Whites was captured on camera bleeding from a facial wound. Two individuals had been taken into custody, according to a statement from the police, one on suspicion of assaulting a general practitioner and the other on suspicion of attacking an emergency worker. They have made an appeal for information and phone camera footage, and they are also looking for a third man.

Leeds has since issued a statement regarding the incident. Leeds United can confirm that a supporter was treated medically and released after an incident that happened outside Carrow Road after Sunday’s Sky Bet Championship Play-Off match, according to a spokeswoman. Paramedics saw the supporter at the site, and the supporter has been in contact with the club. Norfolk Police made an arrest of two people. A male in his late teens was transported to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for interrogation after being arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault GBH. On suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, a fifty-year-old male was also detained at the scene and sent to the Wymondham Police Investigation Centre to be questioned. The two males are still being held. Investigators think there was another male engaged in the incident this afternoon, and they are still looking for him. After a scoreless draw, the two teams will play again at Elland Road on Thursday night in the second leg of the semi-final.
