Joe Worrall, a player for Nottingham Forest who lost his starting spot in the Premier League during the first half of this season, signed a winter transfer to Beşiktaş.
To put things in perspective, since mid-September, the center defender has only been able to play in four games, two of which were in the FA Cup.
After eight games, the Nottingham Forest player’s status with the Turkish club appears to have significantly improved. He has played 584 minutes.
Although they have the option, Beşiktaş will not use it to extend the 27-year-old’s tenure. This is stated in the Milliyet report from Wednesday, which is titled, “Worrall says goodbye.”
In January, Joe Worrall, the captain of Nottingham Forest, moved on loan to Besiktas. However, some significant information about his future has recently surfaced.
For the Forest central defender, the first half of the season wasn’t especially good.
According to some reports, Worrall felt offended when Steve Cooper left him out of the Forest team for their November matchup with Aston Villa.
When the January transfer window opened, he wasn’t participating in football, and Nuno Espirito Santo didn’t consider him to be a part of his plans.
In the 2023–2024 season, the 27-year-old played in just seven Premier League games for a total of 439 minutes.
An update on his experience in Turkey has surfaced after he departed on loan when Besiktas came calling.
