Three players are eligible to leave Leeds United on loan once more this summer; Marc Roca is the first to be announced, and there are two more. This means Leeds United will have more loan issues.

Under the 49ers’ leadership, Paraag Marathe, the club’s chairman, has his job cut out for him in terms of molding the team into one deserving of a Premier League comeback.

Leeds should have more influence than they did the previous summer, and transfers in the summer window will be crucial.

Marc Roca to leave on loan again after clause confirmation

Midfielder Marc Roca has himself confirmed that his loan to Real Betis holds an additional clause to see him leave again temporarily now that Leeds failed to get promoted.

He enjoyed his time at Real Betis in 23/24, where he was a core part of their plans both in midfield and even at centre-back under Manuel Pellegrini.

Roca isn’t the only player who contains this sort of clause, though, with sources indicating to Leeds All Over on Monday that there are others in this position too.

Will Leeds get promoted next season?

Jack Harrison and one more contain loan clauses to leave again

Now, The Athletic’s Phil Hay has relayed the same information that there are others able to leave the club on loan in 24/25.

He shares that Jack Harrison is one of those players, while there is another unnamed one from that group also able:

Harrison is one player with the right to go out on loan again this summer but The Athletic has been told that only one other loan clause remains active. Those aside, the club will have significantly more control over outgoing business.

Harrison and Roca could have been solid permanent sales for Leeds

Not being able to sell either of these players is really frustrating, knowing that they are strong permanent sales for us to bring in.

However, it’s just more of the same with Victor Orta’s baffling policies in the transfer market coming back to bite us a year after he left.

Hopefully, we have a lot more power with the other players that jumped ship and can cash in as appropriate
