Both Brendan Rodgers and Celtic supporters are eager for Adam Idah to return to Parkhead the next season, and the player seems to have expressed his thoughts on the matter.
After Norwich City defeated Rangers in the Scottish Cup, Rodgers expressed his desire to bring the Irishman back to Glasgow’s east end to the Celtic board. Record Sport exclusively revealed earlier this week that the Hoops hierarchy is determined to granting their manager’s wishes. However, a postponement of the agreement may be necessary until the new Canaries manager evaluates his team in light of Norwich’s dismissal of manager David Wagner.
But Idah has given a subtle nod to his emotions on Instagram, seemingly calling it quits on his Celtic career following an incredible six-month stay in Glasgow’s east end. On social media, he wrote: “Thank you, boys. I’ve had an incredible few months and have enjoyed being a member of this unique team. I’ve created lifelong pals and memories! I appreciate all of your help while I’ve been here, and I wish you luck in your future endeavors.”
