Ruud van Nistelrooy is apparently being considered by Leicester City as a possible replacement for Enzo Maresca.
In the 2022–2023 season, Van Nistelrooy was PSV’s manager. The team finished second in the Eredivisie and won the KNVB Cup, although he left the team one game before the season concluded.
With an eight-person backroom staff, Maresca is set to take over as Chelsea’s manager in lieu of Mauricio Pochettino, as Mail Sport has exclusively reported.
Under Maresca, the Foxes made an immediate return to the Premier League after winning the Championship with 97 points this season.
As per Belgian writer Sacha Tavolieri, Van Nistelrooy, the legend of United, is currently being considered as a possible replacement at the King Power Stadium.
