This summer, Liverpool want to reorganize their attacking lineup, and they may target Bryan Mbeumo, a winger for Brentford.

The Reds and rival Premier League team Newcastle United have both indicated a “interest” in signing the forward, according to a report by the French news source L’Equipe.

When the transfer window opens in a few months, Arne Slot wants to add his own touch to the team he has taken over, and he may consider adding the Cameroonian international to the mix.

West Ham and England star Jarrod Bowen has long been admired by Liverpool, but according to The Mirror, he wants to stay with the Hammers for the foreseeable future and is bound to the London Stadium until 2030. Mbeumo might therefore be the perfect replacement for the Merseyside team.

He is a left-footed player who plays off the right, has experience in the Premier League, and would give Mohamed Salah some serious competition.

24-year-old Mbeumo recently stated, “Yeah, I would like to play in the biggest competitions, at the best clubs, but I have spent five years at Brentford, at a club that has allowed me to grow and pass a milestone.” It’s exciting to see several major clubs.

After seeing him play in France, Brentford signed him back in 2019. Before moving to England, he played for Troyes, who are currently owned by Manchester City’s City Group, where he went through the ranks and scored 12 goals in 46 appearances as a young player.

Since then, he has made precisely 200 appearances for the Bees in all competitions, and he has scored 50 goals, nine of which came during the previous campaign. After the London team defeated Swansea City in the play-off final at Wembley in 2021, he assisted in the club’s relegation from the Championship, and he has since acclimated to life in the top flight with ease.

Mbeumo signed a new contract in 2022 that would last until 2026 at the Gtech Community Stadium. Thomas Frank, his manager at the time, expressed his satisfaction with Bryan’s decision to renew his contract with them. Since he joined us in 2019, he has been a crucial member of the team. He had an incredible debut season in the Championship, and he improved even further the following year as he worked on other aspects of his game. His accomplishments in the Premier League have been even more remarkable.

Bryan has, as everyone is aware, struck the woodwork seven times this season. He has given us a lot, but the margins have gone against him. He has consistently posed a challenge to our rivals.

“I am also thrilled that Bryan’s potential can be fully realized.” This is just the beginning of what he is capable of producing. He has an amazing career ahead of him.”

It will be interesting to see whether Liverpool makes a bid for him as they try to bolster their roster.
