With Enzo Maresca getting ready to join the Blues, Leicester City is planning to bring in former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian coach is reportedly on the Foxes’ management shortlist in an attempt to replace Maresca, who is headed to Chelsea, according to Alfredo Pedulla. The 65-year-old former manager of the Blues has been unemployed since he left Lazio in March.
According to the source, Bologna, a team in Serie A, is reportedly interested in Sarri and could pursue him if Thiago Motta decides to go. However, the veteran coach is still undecided about his future. The Greek top league team Panathinaikos made an offer to the former Scudetto-winning Juventus manager, but he declined it.
