ALEXANDER Isak has tried to put a stop to the rumors connecting him with a move to Arsenal this summer, claiming he’s “really, really happy” on and off the pitch at Newcastle.

Newcastle are expected to offload some players this summer to ensure they can strengthen their squad while still complying with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

But the Magpies are determined to keep hold of star duo Isak and Bruno Guimaraes, the Brazilian midfielder whose £100m release clause expires at the end of this month.

Isak, who arrived on Tyneside from Real Sociedad two summers ago, was outstanding this season, scoring 25 goals in all competitions, with his form turning heads of Newcastle’s rivals. North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham have both been heavily linked.

But Isak doesn’t want a move this summer and says he’s had no indication whatsoever that the Magpies might need to cash-in.

“I’m really, really happy at Newcastle,” he told Swedish outlet fotbollskanalen.

“I had my best season of my career. You can’t underestimate that. I love everything about the club, the fans, the city.

“I don’t really have any thoughts of moving or anything like that. I’m having a great time and I’m very happy with my life.

“It is not something I am speculating on. Within the team or the club there has been no talk or drama around it. I have not received the information from the club that they would have to sell me.”
