The 30-year-old has reportedly already received inquiries from the United States, according to the Portuguese journalist who reported via X on June 6. A move to the Major League Soccer is the most likely consequence.
Gomes’ return to Portugal is reportedly out of the question. He will depart the team when his current Goodison Park deal expires.
