Ben Gibson, a defender for Norwich City, has officially signed with Stoke City on a free transfer. Over the previous three years, Gibson appeared in more than 80 league games for the Canaries.

“Successful teams need leaders, strong characters, and experience, and Ben gives us all three qualities in abundance,” Stoke sporting director Jonathan Walters stated regarding the agreement. In addition to his efforts on the field, he holds himself and others to high standards both on and off the field.

Having been promoted multiple times from the second tier throughout his career, Ben is well-versed in what it takes to succeed at this level. He had a nearly constant presence on a play-off team the previous season and will provide our squad the desire, mentality, and leadership it needs to succeed.

Leeds is “certain” to try a deal.
Joe Rodon has had a terrific season, and Leeds United is reportedly “certain” to try to make his Tottenham loan permanent this summer. “I am absolutely certain that they will take Rodon back if they can,” Phil Hay, a journalist covering the Athletics, stated on the Square Ball Podcast. Leeds is in a tough financial situation; certainly, they will make money, but how much they can spend on fees will depend on the amount of money they receive from players that depart.

“If possible, it would be more financially advantageous to be able to lend Rodon money. Rodon seems content here, and this has been one of his better seasons in terms of his own performances. I’m not sure what his choices would be elsewhere. That would be logical.
