Although Dario Osario is currently one of the most intriguing young players in the world, Liverpool may be able to sign him before West Ham United.
This summer, new Liverpool manager Arne Slot plans to completely overhaul the team’s offensive line. Dario Osorio, a target for West Ham, is rumored to be squarely in the Dutchman’s eyes.
The teenage forward was actually tried out by the Hammers last summer, but he ended up signing with FC Midtjylland in Denmark.
With Liverpool now willing to spend almost twice as much as West Ham, who were only willing to pay £5.5 million for Osorio, it appears that we will be completely outclassed in the competition for the Chilean international’s services.
It would not be shocking to see the Hammers make a bid for Osorio this summer given that Tim Steidten has connections in South America and Julen Lopetegui is eager to reinforce his forward line.
The 20-year-old winger is the precise type of exciting young player that Lopetegui ought to be searching for; he would be a fantastic addition to the team.
Michael Edwards, the head of Liverpool, is reportedly set to
Liverpool to blow West Ham out the water in Dario Osorio race It’s seemingly bad news for the Hammers this summer. That’s because La Tercera are claiming that Liverpool are prepared to offer £8 million for the 20-year-old Chilean winger. The young South American, who can play on either wing or in the number 10 position, has already bagged eight goals and two assists in 24 games for Midtjylland, since he joined them from Universidad de Chile last year (Transfermarkt). Football Talent Scout have described the young Chilean as a flamboyant winger and compared him to Argentinian legend Angel Di Maria.
He is still very rough around the edges and will need to bulk up if he is to succeed in the Premier League, but he’s more than capable of doing that if he puts in the hard work. The Chilean has pace in abundance, tremendous skill and his playing style is quintessentially South American what with his aggressive and tenacious approach to the game. Liverpool will clearly stand a better chance of signing Dario Osorio than West Ham this summer, and that’s a real shame as far as I’m concerned.
