As the Foxes look for a new manager ahead of the Premier League season, a manager who was linked to Leicester City has left his current position.

Following his successful return of Leicester City to the Premier League in the previous season, Enzo Maresca left the Foxes without a manager after accepting a managerial position at Chelsea.

Maresca finished with an outstanding 97 points and led Leicester to the best defensive record in the division, but it was not an easy promotion.

Although the 44-year-old’s departure from Pep Guardiola’s team occurred 11 days ago, there was interest in the player much before that.

With the Italian no longer in the fold, Leicester City has set high standards for themselves in their managerial hunt, shortlisting coaches with Champions League background, one of whom recently departed his present team.
