According to TEAMtalk, Leeds United has entered the race to recruit Callum O’Hare, a standout for Coventry City, this summer.

Leeds is expected to face competition from Southampton and Burnley for the 26-year-old midfield player, who finished the Championship with six goals and three assists, according to an internet source that published on June 13.

Could Leeds United sign Callum O’Hare this summer? The 26-year-old is a very talented midfielder and could fit Daniel Farke’s system at Elland Road, especially if someone like Georginio Rutter were to leave this summer. He is primarily an attacking midfielder, but like Rutter and Joel Piroe, he can deputize further forward in a center-forward role if called upon. O’Hare is set to leave Coventry on a free transfer this summer after turning down a new deal with the Sky Blues.

O’Hare has expressed his desire to leave Coventry this summer, especially having not signed a new deal with the club after four years there, and could find a good solution at Elland Road.

Leeds may lose one or two star players as a result of their failure to advance to the Premier League and their defeat by Southampton in the Championship play-off final.

Players like Wilfried Gnonto, Rutter, Archie Gray, and Crysencio Summerville have all been linked to moves away, and because Leeds still owes money for unpaid transactions, making some astute free transfers might be a smart move.

On a free transfer, O’Hare would be a terrific coup this summer and would communicate to the other teams in the league that Farke’s top objective for the upcoming season is promotion.

After the heartbreak at Wembley, the Whites can definitely bounce back. Nonetheless, it might be counterproductive to play in the Championship again, therefore promotion needs to be earned at the second attempt.

In other Leeds United news, despite Wales’ defeat by Slovakia, Ethan Ampadu received fantastic reviews.
