Leicester City are reportedly interested in a Juventus youngster, who has been given a €40million price tag. Leicester City finished on an impressive 97 points, handing them the Championship title last season, but they won’t just be looking to avoid relegation next season in the Premier League. The Foxes are currently without a manager after Enzo Maresca took the job at Chelsea, however this hasn’t stopped the Foxes from getting involved in the transfer window following their promotion from the Championship.

The club has already locked down veteran Jamie Vardy to a new deal that will keep him there until the 2024–2025 campaign and activate the option to sign Sporting Lisbon winger Issahaku Fatawu.

Leicester City is now focused on a young right-winger from Juventus who is Argentinean and who lit up Serie A this season.

Leicester City is considering signing Juventus’ Matias Soule.
The sad demotion of the 21-year-old occurred when he was on loan at the Italian club Frosinone. In spite of this, the Argentinean managed to score 11 goals and provide three assists.

Although he played centrally in the later part of the season, Soule has been used mostly on the right wing, cutting in on his preferred left foot.

According to Tuttosport, Leicester and the player’s representatives have met. In order to free up transfer cash, they have also stated that Juventus would be open to letting him leave the team; the asking price is apparently in the neighborhood of €40 million (£33.75 million).

West Ham and Crystal Palace, two Premier League teams, are interested in signing Soule due to his outstanding achievements and his position as Frosinone’s leading scorer. The Foxes may have to contend for Soule’s services.

Due to his exceptional accomplishments and his status as Frosinone’s top scorer, Soule is being pursued by West Ham and Crystal Palace, two Premier League teams. The Foxes could have to compete to get Soule.

Would Leicester City benefit from acquiring Matias Soule?
For most players, a single season of playing for the first team wouldn’t be enough to determine whether they’re worth a high asking price, but at that amount of money, Soule might be a gift.

Although it is obvious that a player with double-digit goals in Serie A has the talent to help a team that has just been promoted to the Premier League, the fact that he is only 21 years old suggests that he has the potential to be something spectacular.

Soule is a multi-talented player who can go at the defence and make plays. At every level he plays at, he has the pace to really hurt defenders.

Leicester could also benefit with some competition to continue in bringing the best out of winger Fatawu, who tallied 19 goal contributions for the Foxes last season. It will be a difficult task for Leicester to tempt in Soule with many clubs interested in the youngster, and with the FFP restrictions looming over the Foxes. But his abilities and high ceiling should make him paramount in the priority of signings.
