According to reports, Newcastle United has entered the competition to sign Crystal Palace player Michael Olise.

Since joining the London club in 2021, the 22-year-old’s performances have garnered him high praise.

He has made 90 appearances for Palace in all competitions thus far, scoring 16 goals and providing 25 assists.

Due to his impressive performances in England, some of the top teams in Europe are now interested in hiring him.

The winger is being pursued by Bayern Munich, Manchester United, and Chelsea.

The Magpies had a challenging 2023–24 season, finishing seventh in the English top flight after posting just 60 points. Manager Eddie Howe will be looking to make a run at a title next term by bringing in some quality reinforcements. Olise would be an excellent signing for Newcastle, but it is uncertain whether they can manage to get a deal over the line. Bayern can offer him Champions League football, while Chelsea and Manchester United are also very attractive clubs for top players. The Sun is reporting that Newcastle has also entered the transfer race for Olise. The 22-year-old is reported to have a release clause of around £60 million in his contract.
