Daichi Kamada has officially signed a two-year contract with Crystal Palace, as reported by Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian team Lazio’s contract expires this summer, and Kamada has rejected their attempts to persuade him to sign a new deal. Lazio felt they had a deal in place for the Japanese to stay, thus they were displeased with the scenario.
However, Kamada was too tempted to turn down the opportunity to work with his former Eintracht Frankfurt manager Oliver Glasner at Crystal Palace, and he is headed for the Premier League. He signed a two-year contract at Selhurst Park after completing all of the Eagles’ medical examinations.
Palace are expected to confirm the arrival of Kamada at the beginning of July.
The midfielder’s contract with Lazio will expire at the end of June
Glasner knows all about Kamada’s qualities and will be relishing the chance to unleash the midfielder on the Premier League next season.
