Julian Larsson, a forward from Sweden, has left Nottingham Forest.
The 23-year-old left the City Ground to sign with Burton Albion after failing to establish himself with the Reds, who he originally signed with from AIK of the Allsvenskan in 2020.
He scored a total of 16 goals in 43 Premier League 2 appearances for Forest, but did not make a first-team appearance in the Premier League.
On signing for the Brewers, Larsson said: “I’m very excited to be here and to be a part of this and I can’t wait to get started.
“As a player, I want to grow, and I think this is the ideal situation for me—a very excellent level and a team with big goals.
“It will be a good move for me because of the fantastic facilities and the club’s lofty goals.”
Bendik Hareide, the sporting director of Burton, stated: “We are happy to welcome Julian as the newest member of our team. He is a bright young player with a lot of potential, which fits in nicely with our plan. With his speed and athleticism in particular, we are sure he will be a valuable addition, and we are eager to see what he can do on the field.
