If Hamza Igamane decides to move to Ibrox this summer, he may miss Rangers’ preseason, the Scottish Sun reports.

The publication stated on June 21 that even if the 21-year-old AS FAR striker and the Glasgow team had reached an agreement on a four-year contract, the Olympics can go south when he starts training with his new colleagues.

He has been a mainstay for the Moroccan under-23 team, and he won’t be allowed to participate in the preseason if he is selected for the Olympics.

It can take Hamza Igamane longer to get used to life at Rangers.
The 21-year-old striker, who has never played abroad of his home country of Morocco, will also have difficulties adjusting to living in Scotland and the physical demands of the Scottish Premiership.

It can be challenging and time-consuming to adjust to a new league, nation, and culture, which could have an impact on his on-field performance.

Building strength and fitness, learning about teammates’ playing styles, and becoming acquainted with the club’s strategies and facilities are just a few advantages of preseason training.

Without this time, Igamane would not adjust to life at Rangers as quickly as his teammates, which could put him at a disadvantage.

It also remains to be seen if Philippe Clement sees him as a first-team regular because this is not a name that excites fans and arguably does not strengthen the playing eleven.

Hopefully, the marquee signings are made on the other side of Euro 2024 as Gers really need to strengthen their team.
