Nottingham Forest are ready to sell four stars this week as they bid to avoid further punishment under Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the Midlands club are ready to part with Joe Worrall, Lewis O’Brien, Emmanuel Dennis and Matt Turner.
Forest are under pressure to ensure they record a suitable trading profit before their 2023-24 accounting period ends on Sunday (30 June).
Finance expert Stefan Borson told Football Insider earlier this month (15 June) that Nottingham Forest must make £20million from player sales before the end of the month to avoid a points deduction.
Clubs are only permitted to lose £105million over three years under current PSR rules.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are desperate to avoid a cut-price sale for star men such as Morgan Gibbs-White or Taiwo Awoniyi in the coming days.
Forest were deducted four points earlier this year after breaching PSR rules despite the sale of Brennan Johnson to Tottenham.
The club are desperate to avoid a repeat in the 2024-25 campaign and are ready to receive offers for four fringe players.
Worrall, O’Brien and Dennis all spent time out on loan last season, while Turner was replaced as the first-choice goalkeeper by January signing Matz Sels.
Nottingham Forest finished 17th in the Premier League last term to secure a third season back in the top flight.
