Chelsea are said to have made a transfer move for Nottingham Forest’s Murillo.
The 21-year-old’s future is in the spotlight this summer after a superb debut season for the club in the Premier League. And according to reports in Brazil, Chelsea have approached the Reds over a deal.
Forest are said to be demanding £50m for the centre-back, but it is understood Chelsea are not prepared to meet that valuation and are considering making a cash-plus-players offer.
Murillo spoke about his future last week. “I’ve received a few offers. Some official, others sounding out. I’ll take it up with my manager. They were clubs from England, Italy and Germany,” he said.
“If I stay at Nottingham, I’ll do my best. If I leave, I hope they respect my decision. I’m calm and analysing it in the best way.”
Atletico Madrid have reportedly also expressed an interest in Murillo and have held talks with his representatives. The centre-back joined Forest for £11m from Corinthians in the summer of 2023 and played all but six of their 38 Premier League matches. He is thought to have four years left on his contract.
