Football Scotland reports that Rangers will likely disclose in the next few days that they have signed AS Far forward Hamza Igamane for a reported £2 million.

The 21-year-old is expected to be the sixth signing after Oscar Cortes, Jefte, Clinton Nsiala, Connor Barron, and Liam Kelly, according to a news article published on June 28 by the publication.

For days, Rangers has not made the move of Hamza Igamane official.
For a moment, it seemed as though the 21-year-old would be moving to Ibrox, but the announcement has not yet been made.

Up until a few days ago, it seems certain, but the Moroccan was seen in Brazil, so it might wait till he returns.

This, however, is not likely to be a sign that the deal is off as the Daily Record on June 23 quoted an AS FAR representative confirming the striker’s move to Ibrox.

It was believed up until June 22 that the Moroccan had not yet obtained his visa in order to be transferred to Ibrox, although it is unclear if this has happened. [Mercato Foot]

It could be one of the reasons why no announcement is made yet and once things progress on that front, they might then confirm the deal.

Igamane is not a name that most Gers fans will have heard of before the links and it remains to be seen what sort of impact he has once he joins.
