A recent report claims that West Ham United is about to sign a young attacker who is described as “quick” by a Premier League competitor.

Making an impression with West Ham signings are Steidten and Lopetegui.
After taking over last month, new manager Julen Lopetegui acknowledged his desire to make a “big, big noise” with the Irons and put his own mark on things at the London Stadium.

He said: “I feel very happy, first of all, to be able to be part of the future of this big Club. We’ll do our best to leave our mark on the Club. I feel that we have a tremendous platform.

“Obviously, I think the last few years have been excellent for having this foundation, but as a coach, my goal is always to improve, set greater and higher goals, and inspire and develop the players, the squad, and yourself because that’s what competition is all about in football. We have high hopes for this.

“I am where I want to be. I am here because I want to be here and for us it was a fantastic day when we closed our agreement here because our commitment is 100 per cent to be here. We had other opportunities but I am very happy that West Ham chose me because I chose West Ham too, so we are really happy about this.

“We came here with the idea and the thought to make a big, big noise. That’s why we came here, and we are excited by this challenge. Of course, we are going to do our best to help the Club and the team to achieve to achieve the best level and to achieve our aims. I assure the fans that they are going to be key in all our achievements.”

He is doing so already, with the help of technical director Tim Stediten in the transfer market. West Ham have already spent big on teenage winger Luis Guilherme, who arrived from Palmeiras, whereas Wes Foderingham has also signed on a free transfer.

Max Kilman, a center-back for Wolves, is another player that West Ham is attempting to sign. In addition, bids for Wilfried Zaha of Galatasaray and Jhon Arias of Fluminense are expected to be made.

West Ham has shown their willingness to pursue Genoa forward Albert Gudmundsson and has held talks to sign Lille attacker Jonathan David, who may only cost £17 million.

However, not every attacking addition made this summer will be for the starting lineup; one academy recruit appears certain to be confirmed.

“Quick” teenage attacker from Man City to be signed by West Ham
West Ham is “set to sign” Manchester City’s David Chigwada, according to The Secret Scout on X. Chigwada, a “quick attacker,” was formerly with Blackburn Rovers before joining City. However, it appears like he will be joining West Ham, as they are searching for a new attacking talent for their U18 team.

Aged just 16, Chigwada could be one to watch in the club’s academy, and who knows, in time, we may see him progress into the first-team setup, possibly still under Lopetegui
