Elliot Anderson, the new signing for Nottingham Forest, seems to have hinted at the jersey for the upcoming campaign.
The midfield player has signed a five-year contract to leave Newcastle United and play at the City Ground. He joins the Reds as their third summer acquisition, joining Eric da Silva Moreira and Marko Stamenic.
In just over two weeks after the transfer window opened, Forest has completed a sizable amount of business. Additionally, they have made some preparations for their pre-season schedule.
The club hasn’t, however, yet made their 2024–2025 uniforms available. Maybe Anderson, though, has seen ahead of time.
In a video interview with the official club website, he expressed his excitement at signing: “I’m buzzing.” It’s also a gorgeous top! I’m eager.
As excitement mounts, supporters may not have to wait too long for an unveiling as Forest’s new home uniform was unveiled on July 14 of last year. On July 13 of this year, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team will visit Chesterfield for their first preseason match.
Twelve months ago, the Reds switched suppliers of kit. Their affiliation with Macron was terminated, and they inked a multi-year agreement with adidas to serve as their official kit partner for all squads, including the women’s, academy, and first team.
Anderson expressed his excitement about donning the Garibaldi and showcasing his abilities. Being a versatile player, he can play both as a No. 8 and a No. 10.
“I’m excited to get started because I think this is a huge club with a lot of history,” he remarked. It’s a fantastic chance. Since it’s a new beginning, I want to go all out and prove to everyone my abilities. I’m eager for everything.
