Daniel Jebbison, a striker for Sheffield United who is now officially a free agent, has been linked to Leeds United this summer.
Joe Rodon, who rejoined Leeds following his loan stint and signed as part of the deal that sent Archie Gray to Tottenham, is the team’s first summer addition.
As Daniel Farke adjusts to his second effort at exiting the Championship, more should be anticipated over the month of July.
Leeds interested in Daniel Jebbison free transfer signing
According to an HITC investigation, Leeds was closely monitoring Daniel Jebbison, the striker for Sheffield United.
The 20-year-old’s contract was set to expire this summer, at which point he would have been a free agent.
Jebbison played 20 minutes in the Blades’ penultimate game of the previous season, which ended in their Premier League relegation. It was their only appearance of the season.
Confirmed: Leeds United target Daniel Jebbison to leave Sheffield United for free
As of right now, it seems like Jebbison has declined Bramall Lane’s offer of a new contract, which was verified in their summer retained list.
As July approaches, it has now been made public that he is one of the four players leaving Chris Wilder’s squad:
Jebbison and McBurnie worth looking at for Leeds in the striker department
Leeds has to get a new striker to their lineup because Patrick Bamford is nearly unreliable, Joel Piroe isn’t a good fit, and Mateo Joseph is too young.
Even though he is as young as Joseph, Jebbison would provide depth and another dynamic at 6 feet 3 inches, which would help relieve some strain.
A significant number of Championship clubs may also want to give Oli McBurnie a chance because, at 28, he still has a lot to offer and is a fantastic value at no cost.
