West Ham are closing in on three brilliant signings as a new bid pondered for a fourth according to new reports overnight.
Hammers technical director Tim Steidten and new head coach Julen Lopetegui delivered their first West Ham transfer update this week.
The pair were asked about West Ham’s plans for this summer’s major overhaul.
Lopetegui confirmed the Hammers intend to show ambition and push for new arrivals. The Spaniard says he wants to ‘make a big noise’.
Steidten went one further, promising a big summer and insisting West Ham are in a good financial position to spend.

West Ham have already signed Brazilian teenager Luis Guilherme and veteran goalkeeper Wes Foderingham.
As things stand Lopetegui has just 19 senior players in his squad. That means another six signings are needed to ensure Lopetegui has a full 25-man squad.
But with the likes of Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd, Danny Ings and possibly two or three others up for sale, the Hammers may well look to bring in more.
Lopetegui made it clear in his press conference that he wants players signed as early as possible in the window.
Now it seems there may be some progress on the club’s next targets.

The eight positions West Ham want to strengthen this summer were laid out in a recent report.
As part of the rebuild, Steidten and Lopetegui want two new centre-backs, new full-backs – or one who can play both sides – and a versatile attacker who can play off the left.
According to long-running West Ham site with contacts at the club, the Hammers are closing on three targets in those positions.
And reports elsewhere have revealed an initial bid has been rejected for a fourth target too.
KUMB claims West Ham are closing in on the double signing of Wolves skipper Max Kilman and Southampton full-back Kyle Walker-Peters.
West Ham have been locked in talks with Wolves for nearly three weeks.
Hammers News exclusively revealed majority owner David Sullivan is willing to push the boat out to sign Kilman and reunite him with Lopetegui in order to please his new head coach.
We also reported that West Ham were hoping a different bid structure in their third offer for Kilman would be accepted by Wolves.
Now according to KUMB that move is close to being agreed.
Walker-Peters, who was the best full-back in the Championship last season, can play at both left and right back.

Crucially the duo also help West Ham tick the homegrown status box.
Excitingly, the report also states that an approach from West Ham for young Argentine playmaker Matias Soule has been given the green light by Juventus.
“Initial discussions are understood to have been held with view to a permanent transfer for the 21-year-old Argentine winger, who is valued around the €40million mark and spent last season on loan with Frosinone,” the report states.
West Ham have also entered a reported £30m bid for a fourth signing too.
According to L’Équipe, Nice rejected the offer for 24-year-old centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo.
It is claimed Nice are not against selling Todibo, who has seen a move to Manchester United blocked by UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules.
Cynics might suggest if West Ham do sign former Barcelona flop Todibo, it could be a deal to “park” him at the club to allow Man United to sign him at a later date.
After a brief lull on the transfer front, it seems West Ham’s activity has burst back into life overnight.
