For Crystal Palace, this summer has already been a busy one with incomings but now there could be two players set for a loan.
This summer has already seen the arrival of two signings to bolster Oliver Glasner’s high-flying squad.
These arrivals were Chadi Riad for the defence and then Daichi Kamada as a versatile midfielder and forward.
Ryan Sessegnon could also soon join as he is said to be on trial and training with the club in a bid to win a contract this summer.
Meanwhile, exits are yet to be completed with Michael Olise close to Bayern Munich.
But now it’s been reported that Crystal Palace could be sending two youngsters on loan to Italy.
Pisa targeting Crystal Palace youngster duo
Loans will be massive this summer for Crystal Palace with so many talented youngsters needing minutes.
Now, according to Alan Nixon on his Patreon, two Palace youngsters are wanted in Italy this summer by Serie B club Pisa.
The report explains that both Malachi Boateng and Malcolm Ebiowei are wanted by Pisa in what would be a joint loan deal.
This could be an exciting opportunity for both, who have struggled thus far in their careers through a few loan moves each.
But both are still young and this could be a great move to see them push on toward their potential.
Malcolm Ebiowei and Malachi Boateng careers so far
To start with, Boateng is still just 22 and being a defensive midfielder means he still has plenty of time to reach his prime as his understanding of the game will continually improve.
He came through the Palace academy and has spent two spells out on loan. First heading to Queens Park in Scotland for the 2022/23 season. Then last season he was at Dundee FC.
Boateng featured heavily for both during his loans and from his spell in Dundee, he certainly impressed with his off-the-ball displays. Winning more duels (119) than 70% of his positional peers.
Ebiowei wasn’t an academy graduate but arrived for free from Derby in 2022. Since then he has spent time out on loan twice.
He headed to Hull City during the 2022/23 season and then to RWD Molenbeek for last season. He didn’t feature heavily for either with just five appearances during his most recent loan.
He also has five outings for Palace, but quite clearly needs a loan to improve and get more minutes, so Pisa could be perfect.
