Prior to the 2024–2025 season, Nottingham Forest is looking to add players, and it looks like another agreement is about to conclude.

Nuno Espirito Santo is seeking to establish Forest as a Premier League team, so the Reds are making several attempts to bring in new players.

The space between the posts will be examined, and a goalkeeper is one player on the shortlist for a transfer.

Matt Turner may leave Forest as well. This summer, Odysseas Vlachodimos was already let to go for Newcastle.

Although Matz Sels was the team’s top player at the end of the season, he will have considerable competition.

After weeks of uncertainty about his future, Carlos Miguel suddenly appears extremely close to signing with Forest.

Miguel was reportedly photographed at the airport getting ready to board a flight to England, according to Brazilian journalist Vessoni on X.

Miguel’s release clause is only for £4 million, therefore Forest has to pay Corinthians before anything else can happen.

The arrangement is getting closer, and it is not expected that there would be any problems with the medical or personal aspects.

Miguel’s exit from the elite Brazilian team was especially disorganized.

Miguel’s management has expressed his dissatisfaction with him in public, making a move appear like the only course of action.

Forest might have struck gold when Miguel signs.
Miguel, who is 25 years old, has the potential to be Forest’s goalkeeper for many more years. The Reds could certainly use a new goalie.

Although Sels is another extremely reliable choice, it’s not exactly thought of as a player with the long term in mind.

With Murillo’s £10.4 million signing, Forest enjoyed some success in the South American market the previous season.

Miguel is currently valued by the Reds at almost £70 million, and Forest is hoping he can develop into an asset with future selling value.

Miguel will be a formidable member of the Forest squad at 6 feet 8 inches tall.

His performances for Forest will be the true test, but at £4 million, this deal seems extremely appealing.
