It appears that West Ham United is closing in on a truly exceptional £50 million Premier League player this summer.

With the addition of Max Kilman and Luis Guilherme to West Ham this summer, Julen Lopetegui is making some major signals.

The Spaniard is reportedly considering recruiting young, unknown players in the hopes of making them stars, even though he is well aware that he still has a lot of work ahead of him.

Although I agree with that attitude, Lopetegui needs to add a few experienced additions to the mix for it to be effective.

To be fair, the manager of the Hammers has already brought in some proven expertise this summer in Kilman.

Between now and the window’s conclusion, I anticipate seeing Lopetegui sign three or four gifted young players and one well-established star.

And it appears that he is now prepared to bring in another accomplished Premier League player, preferably one who is nearing the peak of his career.

Amazing Aaron Wan-Bissaka deal being eyed by West Ham
After David Moyes failed to bring Aaron Wan-Bissaka to the London Stadium in January, the Manchester United player is reportedly back on the Hammers’ radar, according to a report from The Daily Mail.

I have to say, I think we should be going all out to bring the Man United defender back to London this summer.

I believe the 26-year-old would be a stunning addition top Lopetegui’s ranks at West Ham – he has everything we currently lack in the right full-back department.

The pacy right-back joined Man United from Crystal Palace for around £50 million in 2019, but Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is apparently now prepared to let him leave Old Trafford.

He is arguably the very best man to man defender in the Premier League, and is an exceptional tackler.

Not one single winger enjoys playing against him, there’s no doubting that.

Wan-Bissaka has been described as an ‘explosive’ player by the The Athletic. He’s not the best going forward, but he can definitely still work on that and improve.

At 26, the former Crystal Palace right-back easily has four or five years left playing at the very highest level, before he passes his prime.

It will all come down to how much money Manchester United will demand for the 26-year-old this summer.

If Aaron Wan-Bissaka is available for anything like £20 million or less, West Ham should be all over a deal for him this summer – he’d be a huge upgrade on Vladimir Coufal.
