His impressive record of 20 clean sheets in League One last season highlights his exceptional goalkeeping abilities.

Moreover, his arrival could foster healthy competition within the team, pushing first-choice goalkeeper Alex Palmer to improve his performance.

This dynamic could lead to a stronger goalkeeping department overall.

As a free agent, the Englishman represents a cost-effective acquisition for West Brom, allowing the club to allocate resources to other areas that may need strengthening.

His decision to move to the Hawthorns indicates his commitment to the club’s ambitions and his desire for a new challenge in a higher division.

This signing not only adds depth to the squad but also signals the club’s intent to compete at a higher level and perhaps achieve their goal of promotion in the upcoming season.
