Albert Grønbaek, who arrived at the city’s airport on Monday morning and is leaving Bodo/Glimt for roughly €12 million, has signed a contract with Rennes.

The Ligue 1 team has more major hits lined up, just waiting to be finished, but it is their first big hit of the summer transfer season.

Glen Kamara should be among the next to arrive, according to Tuesday’s issue of Ouest France, which also discusses some of the financial aspects of the transfer from Leeds United.

Rennes and Leeds United have come to a “agreement in principle” for Rennes to pay €7-8 million for Kamara. In the coming days, he is anticipated to arrive from the Championship team.
Subsequently, he will begin pre-season training for Rennes, working at the sunny camp in Dinard under Julien Stephen’s supervision.

At the close of the August 2023 transfer window, Kamara signed a contract with Leeds United at an estimated €6 million. Thus, even before a year of amortization, the Whites are profiting from the transaction.

That will provide a little more assistance with incomings.
