Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Millie Chandarana on a one-year deal.
The Tricky Trees announced news of the transfer via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 27-year-old joins Nottingham Forest after leaving former club Blackburn Rovers at the end of last season.
Chandarana has spent the last three seasons playing Barclays Women’s Championship football with Blackburn Rovers. The player made 57 appearances for the Lancashire club in league competition in which she scored two goals. Chandarana was an ever-present for Blackburn Rovers in 2023/2024.
The player has made a name for herself in the second tier but she will play FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division football this season with Nottingham Forest.
After signing on at The City Ground, Chandarana said “It’s a fantastic club and I’m excited for the opportunity and can’t wait to get going.
“The ambition the Club has is incredible, it’s going in a great direction and I just want to be a part of it.”
Chandarana becomes the second signing of the new full-time professional era at Nottingham Forest. The club have also signed former Barclays Women’s Championship joint-top scorer Melissa Johnson so far this summer.
